Hanna Ryti is a Helsinki based freelance theatre director, performance dramaturge, playwright and author. Her style in theatre is visual, physical and humoristic, a bold fusion of different fields of the performing arts. Almost every project includes a extensive groundwork with interviews, reading books, meeting subject-matter experts etc. That's also how her experience as a journalist come together with her theatre education. Hanna’s latest works are “the Brothers Lionheart” in the Mikkeli Theatre, “Pallo vai palikka” a physical performance about abstract art in the Dance Theatre Hurjaruuth and “Aina on joku syy" a play about depression, in the Teatteri Takomo. Her next novel is coming out in august. It’s a book about not being loved and not being able to love and also about the climate change, which seems to be a result of all the lovelessness in the world.
